I really loved Zelda when the games were like a link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Oracle of Seasons/Ages. It's not that I don't like current releases, there is something about the older top down games that were really charming.
I wish there were more 2d HD games. Those can be really gorgeous if done right. Anything like Mario, Metroid, Megaman, etc. would like great in hd.
Not only are they on the top of the charts right now, the ps3 is matching numbers with psp. Handhelds normally reign supreme over the consoles, but they are neck to neck.
I must say I am impressed. Looks like they did a pretty good job with the port considering they had to redo a lot of the textures, models, etc.
Hardly dead. 31.7% of the market is very good when you look at the numbers that those percentages represent. While I much prefer the PSP over the DS, I still like both and will continue to support both platforms. Games like Lumines really make the psp's screen shine.

@Chuck Norris
True, when I look at the DS and the PSP, I see two completely different systems. They may both be rolled into the same handheld category, but the strong points of both r...
Do you download the beta now or do you have to wait until tomorrow? It says my code is no longer valid or not correct.
EDIT
Ahh I see they activate on the 19th. Nevermind.
I can't get the fileplanet codes to work. Every time I try to input the code it says it is no longer valid or not a real code.
EDIT
Nevermind I found out they activate tomorrow.
I was hoping for a little more out of this game, but after a couple reviews I might not pick this up until I see it cheap in 6 months or so.
Although I can't wait till this comes out, I wish they would wait and use the new motion controllers. The game lends itself well to the control scheme since the first two were designed for motion.

It would be awesome if that functionality was there. That ability would lend itself well to the play, create, share motto.
@ dchalfont
You really should pick up any Metroid game. I don't there has ever been a dud in the series off the top of my head. Both the side scrolling games and the prime series are fantastic. I started off on Metroid II for the Gameboy which some might say was one of the weaker titles, but I loved it and every game every that has come out since then.
@Noctis Aftermath and Noct
Your names give everything away. I too can't wait for FFvXIII. I have been eagerly waiting for that game ever since the first trailer. The darker setting has really grabbed my attention.
@Swiftfox
I think that is a pretty good way to sum wrpgs up. It's all about making your character as strong, skilled, etc as possible. I have to agree that polished feel is lost in wrpgs. Thanks for the reply. Bubbles.
@Blaze929
I forgot you had to to get bloodlines for the weapons. I probably will go with ps3 since I intend to get both games, but I see why people would want the demo over the weapons now. Thanks for the reply.
lol, I guess my bag of kettle corn will have to do for me.
Both jrpgs and wrpgs have their strong points. Jrpgs benefit from their heavily linear storyline by developing characters, voiced dialog, epic battles, etc. while wrpgs benefit strongly from choice, immersion, believability, etc. I enjoy both and feel that both should be here to stay.
I admittedly don't really know what the original story is in Oblivion anymore. I have spent so many hours doing side missions that the last big story thing I did was the fall of K'vatch and that ...
I'm surprised that people actually want the demo more than the weapons. Weapons add more to the game even it is barely anything. Demos aren't worth anything after the demoed game comes out.
A better reason to choose one version over the other is performance and content. Everyone gets the demo eventually. Just my honest opinion.
Agree with you there. I am looking forward to the international version of the game like they did with FFX, Kingdom Heats, etc. where they included both language tracks. Hopefully then I will be able to play the game the way it is originally made.
@Saaking
You look at it one step further. You have to pay
1 to get online,
2 to play on xbox live,
3 to play 1 game.
As much as Activision would like to suck us dry, there is a point when people will stop spending money. I am already deterred from ever playing mmo's because of that monthly fee for just a single game. It's just not worth it.
Pikmin was definitely an interesting game that I would love to see more of. I would like for Miyamoto to make something original again more along those lines rather than Wiifit and Nintendogs. The newer things aren't so much games anymore in my opinion.
